Vantawng Falls lies in the Lunglei district of Mizoram, 35 km from Lunglei and 150 km from Aizawl — the tall waterfall of the region, its 229-m drop, the viewpoints and the forest set on the Vanva river.

The falls' story runs with the 1980s park era — the tall waterfall of the 1980s-era park life and the 20th-century-era road era of the Lunglei circuit, with the falls' modern role as the nature stop of the Mizoram circuit and the home of the 229-m drop and the viewpoints and the 2010s-era bridges; the falls' history of the 2000s-era viewpoint works and the forest paths, gives Vantawng its tall character.
