Konnexo Resto (the company) does not collect, store, or process any personal data on behalf of its users. This Privacy Policy describes the roles and responsibilities of the parties.

1. Our Role

1.1 Konnexo Resto provides restaurant management software as a service. We are a software provider only. We do not:

  • (a) Collect, store, or process any personal data on behalf of our users or their customers.
  • (b) Have access to the data stored by our users within the application.
  • (c) Determine how our users collect, use, or process personal data.
  • (d) Provide legal advice, compliance guidance, or regulatory consultation.

1.2 Our software is designed to be deployed and operated locally by the user/operator. All data remains within the user's infrastructure and is not transmitted to Konnexo Resto or any third party.

2. User/Operator Responsibility

2.1 The user/operator of Konnexo Resto is the data controller and data processor for all personal information collected, stored, or processed using the software. The user/operator is solely responsible for:

  • (a) Obtaining all necessary consents from their customers and staff.
  • (b) Complying with all applicable data protection, privacy, and consumer laws in their jurisdiction (including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, PDPA, APPI, DPDP Act).
  • (c) Maintaining appropriate security measures to protect personal data.
  • (d) Responding to data subject requests (access, rectification, erasure, portability, etc.).
  • (e) Notifying relevant authorities and affected individuals in the event of a data breach.
  • (f) Ensuring that their use of the software complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. No Liability for Data Handling

CONNECTO RESTO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, CLAIM, OR LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE COLLECTION, STORAGE, PROCESSING, OR DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA BY ITS USERS. THE USER/OPERATOR BEARS FULL AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL DATA-RELATED MATTERS.

3.1 Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Konnexo Resto specifically disclaims any liability for:

  • (a) Data breaches, hacking incidents, or unauthorized access to data stored by users.
  • (b) Non-compliance with data protection laws by users or operators.
  • (c) Misuse of personal data by users, operators, or their employees.
  • (d) Any third-party claims arising from a user's data handling practices.

3.2 Any complaints, claims, or legal actions regarding data privacy shall be directed to the responsible user/operator, not to Konnexo Resto.

4. Data We Collect

4.1 Konnexo Resto (the company) does not collect any personal data through the software. The software may collect anonymous, aggregate usage analytics for the purpose of improving the product. This data cannot be used to identify any individual.

4.2 If you contact us via email or through our website, we may collect your name, email address, and any information you provide in your message. This information is used solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

5. Cookies
