Vansda National Park lies in the Navsari district of Gujarat at about 200 m, 90 km from Surat and 30 km from Chikhli — the river park of the region, its 1979-era reserve, the leopards and the forest set on the Ambika river's banks.
History & culture
The park's story runs with the 1979 reserve era — the river park of the 1979-era reserve and the 20th-century-era forest life of the Dangs rule, with the park's modern role as the wildlife stop of the Gujarat circuit and the home of the leopards and the Ambika river and the 2000s-era trails; the park's history of the 2015-era additions and the river banks, gives Vansda its river character.
