The park's story runs with the 2021 Ramsar era — the Ramsar wetland of the 250 species and the 2021-era Ramsar listing of the bird protection life, with the park's modern role as the birding stop of the Delhi circuit and the home of the winter geese and the 1991-era towers and the 2010s-era trails; the park's history of the 1971-era creation and the migratory arrivals, gives the sanctuary its Ramsar character.
