The Garden of Five Senses lies in the Saidulajab village of South Delhi, 20 km from the centre — a themed park of the city's leisure, its landscaped terraces and the art installations set on a rocky rise above the Mehrauli country.
History & culture
The garden was designed in 2003 by the Delhi Development Authority with the landscape architect's vision — a park of the senses (sight, sound, touch, taste, smell) with its water bodies and the garden's terraces; the park's role in the city's cultural calendar with its evening events and the seasonal festivals gives the garden its modern-Delhi character.
